   BIRTV is China’s most prestigious exhibition in the industry of radio, film and TV and a key part of China     International Radio Film & Television Exposition. It is also the only one of such exhibitions which    gains support from China government20 years since its foundation, BIRTV has grown to be the best show of this kind throughout China and even in Asia. This statement is proven, by the quality and number of products and items being exhibited; by the continuous support from the to pexhibitors and manufactures and by the huge number of professionals and interested visitors.     In BIRTV2007, 426 companies from home and abroad showed their latest equipments and technologies in an exhibiting area of 50000 square meters. More than 55000 attendees mainly from Radio and TV stations of various levels in China, neighboring countries and even Europe or America visited the show.

With the 2008 Olympic Games around the corner, it’s safe to say HD will figure prominently in China’s broadcast landscape even after this year’s event. Hopefully, the new impetus and initiatives surfacing in the region are expected to create more and more market opportunities, thus make BIRTV a most rewarding platform.

The Society of Broadcast Engineers Hong Kong Chapter was established in 2009 on April 21, be outside the United States , Asia ’s first SBE chapter. The Executive Committee by the Hong Kong cable television limited broadcasting operations and engineering, Mr. Lam Kwok Luen and 23 broadcast engineers and technicians, as well as local and Asian District provides broadcast engineering vocational SBE certification exam.
